Passive house
A passive house hotel requires extremely little heating energy due to its excellent insulation and thermal insulation. It is currently the most energy-efficient and therefore most environmentally friendly construction method.
The new Explorer Hotel Ötztal in Umhausen is the group's eighth hotel and, as a passive house hotel, is climate-neutral.
Environment
To reduce emissions, all Explorer Hotels rely on sustainable energy sources such as solar power and biomass. Waste reduction and employee training also play an important role in ensuring sustainable use of the natural environment.
Breakfast is served daily from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and offers everything you need, including over 70 mostly regional products and free hot drinks.
