Everyone has seen the horrifying photos of oceans full of plastic. Despite the ban on single-use plastic, we produce more and more plastic waste every year. Yet each of us can reduce our personal plastic waste with just a few small steps – we can help you!
Sustainable soap dispenser for all occasions!
Every hotel produces waste – that's completely normal. Guests want comfort, and that often involves a lot of packaging waste. However, Explorer Hotels strive to produce as little waste as possible. A small example of this is the stylish soap dispensers in the bathroom. You've probably wondered why there's only one container in the entire bathroom. Everyone knows those classic "samples" of shampoo and soap in hotels, right? Explorer Hotels do without them because the math is simple:
Consumption of conventional "soap sachets" per Explorer Hotel: 365 days x 100 rooms = 36,500 soap sachets per year per Explorer Hotel. For 10 Explorer Hotels, that's an annual consumption of 36,500 × 10 = 365,000 pieces of plastic waste per year. This doesn't have to be the case.
