CleanUp Days are about clearing nature of litter and thus protecting the environment. When people think of CleanUp Days, many immediately think of World Celan Up Day – which always takes place in September. But anyone can organize a CleanUp Day throughout the year. We've already participated in the Plasticfree Peaks CleanUp Days in Allgäu, Tyrol, and Montafon. That was really cool 😎
We've also conducted our own Explorer Hotels CleanUps in the Hinterstoder, Bad Kleinkirchheim, Berchtesgaden, and Garmisch regions. Participating in a CleanUp Day is easy! All you need is a reusable fabric bag and stainless steel tongs or gloves. And because it's more fun together, team up with friends, family, or work colleagues.
World Cleanup Day is a global day of action. You've probably heard of it? It takes place every year on the third Saturday in September.

The guys and girls from Patron Plasticfree Peaks have one thing in common—they LOVE the mountains and appreciate nature. This nonprofit organization launched CleanUP Days in 2019, and a lot has happened since then.
