The Explorer Hotels are not traditional accommodations, but the first certified passive house hotels in Europe. The construction of a passive house hotel is particularly sustainable, as this hotel requires extremely little heating energy due to its excellent insulation and thermal insulation.
Energy efficiency 💡
Our sustainable hotels feature energy-efficient appliances and lighting systems. Our heating requirements are largely met from passive sources, such as solar radiation, to minimize energy consumption. In addition to sustainable energy generation, we strive for energy conservation. You'll find LEDs, energy-saving light bulbs, and motion detectors throughout the building.

Water-saving buttons on all toilets are also a given for our businesses. In order to save even more water, we consciously decided against a pool; the large number of lakes, leisure pools, and thermal baths make this unnecessary anyway.
