Small but beautiful! The Skilift am Ried is just 1 km from the Explorer Hotel Garmisch. Here, children, teenagers, and beginners in particular find ideal conditions for skiing and tobogganing fun on the slopes. The Zugspitze and Garmisch-Classic ski areas are located near Farchant. All ski enthusiasts will get their money's worth here.
In addition to skiing, the Zugspitze region offers other exciting winter activities: ice skating in the Zugspitz Arena, ski touring or snowshoe hikes, toboggan runs day and night, and numerous cross-country ski trails.
