Official opening ceremony at the Explorer Hotel Garmisch in Farchant
The first guests stayed overnight on October 5th, and the official opening and blessing of the Explorer Hotel Garmisch in Farchant took place on December 3rd.

The event began with a welcome address from managing directors, founders, and owners Jürnjakob Reisigl and Katja Leveringhaus. They expressed their sincere thanks to everyone involved, without whom the construction in Farchant would not have been possible.
Afterward, Mayor Christian Hornsteiner and District Administrator Anton Speer offered welcoming remarks and recounted the story of the dwindling number of guest beds in Farchant and the importance of sustainability in the region.
The two clergy Rev. Martin Dubberke and Chaplain Andreas Kolb finally blessed the new Explorer Hotel Garmisch in Farchant.
Now it was time to get down to the details. Katja Leveringhaus and Jürnjakob Reisigl explained the Explorer Hotel concept and the background.
Did you know that the color green dominates even more in the new house? The upholstery in the rooms and lounge is also made entirely of loden fabric. The carpet not only has a new design, but is now made from recycled PET bottles. Do you notice the difference?
After all the speeches, all the visitors were quite hungry and there were snacks from the local catering partner "Sport-Stüberl" in Farchant.
