Experience the winter paradise of Garmisch on touring skis
When the sun disappears behind the peaks and the moon slowly appears, that's when things really get beautiful!
Every Tuesday and Thursday between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m., snow conditions permitting, the Bavarian Zugspitzbahn invites you to an evening ski touring event on Garmisch's 1,340-meter-high local mountain. The start is at the valley station of the Hausbergbahn cable car, and then it's a 1.5-hour walk to the Drehmöser9.
If that's not enough for you, you can continue to the Kreuzalm or the Kreuzeckhaus. The huts there are also open. Lifts and cable cars are not open on ski touring evenings in the Zugspitzland, but there is a slope for descending into the valley.
