Ice skating in the winter sports resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen
The Olympic Ice Sports Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen was built in 1936 for the Winter Olympics and has since hosted various tournaments and world championships in ice hockey and curling.
The ice sports facility, with two covered halls and an outdoor ice rink, is also part of the Federal Training Center for Curling and Bavarian Curling and is also used as a training facility by local sports clubs.
Before you ask: You can of course also regularly spin your pirouettes here during public ice skating or show off your talent at curling. Figure skating and ice hockey are also possible here. And if that's too slippery for you, you can simply watch the colorful spectacle.
You can rent all kinds of ice skates and ice hockey equipment on site.
