Tips for cycling in autumn
To help you cycle safely through the fall, we have these tips for you:
Fog, drizzle, and early dusk: Your bike lights are indispensable! For maximum illumination at dusk, it's best to also use reflectors.
At the beginning of fall, check your brakes, as mud, rain, and leaves turn the bike path into a slippery mess and increase stopping distances.
Choose the right clothing for cycling. Temperatures in fall can get chilly very quickly, so dress warmly. Don't forget your hands and feet, and remember gloves or overshoes.
