From the Explorer Hotel in Farchant, you'll head straight to Oberau, where you'll immediately take the left lane. After leaving the pass road behind you, you'll reach the town of Ettal. A short descent follows, and the path continues towards Reutte and Linderhof. After reaching Graswang, you'll soon be at Plansee by road bike!

The road bike tour now takes you along the shore of Lake Plansee.

Continuing to follow the path, you first reach the Ammerwald customs office. From here, the path becomes winding, and towards the end, you descend to Reutte. Under the road bridge, you will come to the signpost for "Germany, the Fernpass, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen." Here, there is initially a slight incline, and you cycle on a hilly road to the towns of Heiterwang, Bichlbach, Lermoos, and Ehrwald. Turn left again, pass under the viaduct, and follow the signs for "Germany and Garmisch-Partenkirchen." Now you can breathe a sigh of relief, because your calves will enjoy the gently sloping road without much strain. From Griesen, a bike path leads you to the train station in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Here, follow the path to the junction with the main road and turn left. Following the main road, the path leads you directly to Frickenstraße and finally to the Explorer Hotel in Farchant.
