Road Bike Tour Mirnock/Posegger Hof - Lake Ossiach - Lake Afritz - Feld am See

Today, you'll start again directly at the Explorer Hotel in Bad Kleinkirchheim. First, turn left towards Radenthein, where you'll be guided down the valley. From here, you'll follow the main road and then to Döbriach, directly towards Lake Millstatt.

Once you reach the lake, you'll immediately tackle the first, steep climb to Glanz. Above Glanz, turn left and follow the path towards Gschriet and Mooswald, where the route continues with an average gradient of 9-10%. Here, you'll have to climb 150 meters in elevation over the last two kilometers until you reach the Poseggerhof.

The entire route is characterized by magnificent views of Lake Millstatt. You can linger a while longer to enjoy this beautiful view at Renate's inn. Here, amidst the stunning Nockberge mountains at 1240 meters above sea level, you'll find the perfect vantage point. The heavenly tranquility and panoramic views across the lake to the Grossglockner invite you to linger.

Refreshed, you continue on – initially downhill along the same path until you turn left towards Fresach. The trail now leads you down the valley towards the Drau River, descending approximately 600 meters. Via Weissenstein and Uggowitz, the route continues towards Puch. From here, you cycle through the Karstal valley via Treffen to Sattendorf, finally arriving at the beautiful Lake Ossiach. Here, you can take another short break before continuing on the same route towards Treffen. From there, you continue cycling towards Arriach. About 4 km before reaching Arriach, a turnoff to the left leads you towards Afritz am See.

After cycling past Lake Afritz, which enjoys a stunning location nestled in the Nockberge Mountains, turn right before Lake Brennsee.

In Feld am See, the final climb begins via Obertweng to Bad Kleinkirchheim, where you'll need to exert some more energy to conquer the approximately 250 meters of elevation gain in the last 6 kilometers.
