Aerial climbing around Bad Kleinkirchheim
Are you a climbing pro? Then the Falkensteig is perfect for you. At 300 meters long, this challenging via ferrata leads through corners, traverses, and vertical walls. The highlight is the two-rope bridge. Upon exiting, you'll be treated to a unique view of Carinthia.
The Murmelsteig is less difficult to climb. It's suitable for families. However, you should be aware that there is no way out, and the 20-meter-long rope bridge will be a bit of a test of courage.
Climbing enthusiasts are also in good hands at the beautiful Millstätter See.
Here, you'll find spectacular climbing walls right by the water, challenging via ferratas, and introductory climbing courses for beginners. After the exertion, fun follows – treat yourself to a cool dip in the picturesque lake.
For the little climber
Your children will experience adventurous climbing on the "Oberkärntner Jäger" trail and the Peter Santner climbing garden with its 30-meter-long rope bridge on Lake Millstatt. The Heidi Alm in Falkert (20 minutes by car) also offers a children's via ferrata for practicing. As a reward, after climbing, you'll whizz down a 100-meter-long zip line to safety on the Flying Fox at lightning speed. Your child can also let off steam on the 12-meter-high climbing wall. Not exhausted enough yet? After climbing, head to the Heidi Alm playground.
