Who hasn't heard of the Silvretta Montafon? With 140 kilometers of slopes, this ski resort in Vorarlberg offers perfect conditions until April. The ski area's entrance is right in Gaschurn, and the ski bus stop is right in front of the hotel—no walking.
At the Silvretta Bielerhöhe, you'll find the finest cross-country ski trails at an altitude of 2,032 meters—the highest in Vorarlberg, by the way. The Mountain Beach Trail is right in front of the hotel.
Untouched snow slopes are also found in the Montafon region. More than 20 designated ski tours showcase the beauty of Vorarlberg. Always keep an eye on the avalanche risk!
MONTAFON: Kids on Ski - for children between 3 and 5
✔ Only in Montafon✔ 7 nights✔ includes 5 x 2-hour ski lessons, rental equipment, and a 6-day ski pass for children✔ Children stay free✔ Arrival on Sundays
For hikers, the Montafon offers 1,160 kilometers of hiking trails and many exciting via ferratas in summer. Visit the famous Maisäß settlements and experience the hospitality of the "Muntafuner" (Muntafuners).
In addition to the annual M3 Mountain Bike Marathon, you'll find cool mountain bike routes here all year round. How about the rear Silbertal valley, where few hikers venture? Or the Brandnertal valley with its trails?
Experience the Montafon region on a run, over hill and dale and with plenty of elevation gain! The Montafon Totale Trail or the Arlberg Marathon should definitely be on your running event list.
The Silvretta High Alpine Road isn't just popular with vintage cars and motorcyclists. More and more racing cyclists are tackling the 34 hairpin bends to the top. Are you, too?
