If your bike tour list is running out and you're looking for new challenges in the mountains, then this bike tour is just the thing for your summer vacation in Austria.

Bike tour from Montafon to Ötztal

The tour starts at the Explorer Hotel Montafon. Mentally prepare your calves, because a full 102 km await you! But take it easy – the view of the magnificent nature makes this challenge truly worthwhile ;)

You cycle along the village road towards Partenen and continue on the Silvretta road. Shortly before the Silvretta High Alpine Road, turn left and take the Ganifer road along the forest to the Kops Reservoir. Here you can plan a rest and enjoy the view of the lake. Now that you've refueled, it's time to move on.

You cycle first along the lake and then on a forest path past the Ballunspitzbahn cable car towards Galtür. Shortly before the town, turn left, as the bike tour continues along the Vermuntbach stream onto the Paznaun Valley Road.

Passing meadows, forested areas, and small villages, your bike tour continues onto the Tyrolean Road and takes you to Zams. From here, you cycle first to the right of the Inn, then on the left, and later right again. After leaving the small village of Mairhof, the route leads you to Sautens on the Ötztal Road to the long-awaited Umhausen.

After 10 hours, you've made it! Put your feet up, grab a cold drink—it's time to relax!
