Marion: _Tell that to Steffen... No, professional sport isn't just about cycling fast. You have to learn how to navigate the media, how to be a keynote speaker in front of strangers in foreign languages. And also how to know and decide for yourself where you're headed. If you can only pedal fast, sooner or later you'll fall flat on your face, or you'll definitely not end up where you wanted to be. I'm very happy that I'm in good hands on the racing team, because even in professional sport, with all its numerical metrics, Lothar M. Seiwert's quote holds true: "If you're in a hurry, go slowly."

Which food is always worth a sin for you?

Marion: Yes, ice cream isn't bad. But I can't give in too often here. After all, I want to win professional races, and purely from a physical perspective, a healthy and good diet is very important for me and my performance level. That's not to say you'll never see me with something unhealthy, but everyone has to learn to understand their own body and has different weaknesses to be aware of. Personally, I'm certainly not the kind of athlete who, like Rémi, has to be careful not to lose too much weight and muscle during hard training.

How do you deal with defeats, failures, and setbacks?

Marion: That's probably one of the things in my professional life where I have potential. A mistake or a failure really upsets me at first. Often, even bigger mistakes result from that. In the World Cup, for example, it's certainly the wrong approach to worry about mistakes during the race. But I can't really ignore that yet, even though I know it would be best to just keep looking forward in that moment to immediately correct the small mistake.
