Join us on a scenic snowshoe hike in the Allgäu Alps:
This tour is perfect for snowshoe beginners or for the start of the season. The tour starts at the parking lot at the valley station of the Grasgehren lifts. From here, the route runs southwards over a gentle ascent directly to the summit. In good weather, you'll have a fantastic panoramic view of the Allgäu Alps, the neighboring Vorarlberg peaks, and even as far as Switzerland. If visibility is good, you can even see Lake Constance. For the descent, you can either follow the same route as on the ascent or follow one of the various variations. However, the gradients here may be somewhat steeper.
Note: The tour leads through alpine terrain; an avalanche transceiver, probe, and shovel are recommended. You should also be familiar with how to use them. Alternatively, you can also join a guided tour.
Tip: The snowshoe tour can also be easily converted into a ski tour. The ascent route remains the same!
