And since all this action and adventure will work up an appetite, you'll want to refuel at the Wurbauerkogel mountain restaurant.
If you prefer something a little quieter, we recommend a family hike to Schiederweiher – it's not just the little ones who will be amazed. From here, continue on to the Polsterlucken Loop. In the area around Hinterstoder, caves are called "Lucken."
Our tip: Be sure to plan a trip to the Hutterer Böden. The cable car takes you comfortably up to the Höss. By the way: With the Pyhrn Priel Card, which you can get at our hotel for the duration of your stay, the ascent and descent are free.
The hike continues to the reservoir, from where you'll enjoy a magnificent view of the mountain panorama opposite. Incidentally, the trail is also accessible with a stroller. A disc golf course with nine baskets awaits you at Hutterer Böden. With a type of Frisbee – called a golf disc – you have to hit the disc golf baskets with as few throws as possible. The goal of the game is to complete all holes in as few throws as possible. Now, if that isn't the perfect activity for the whole family 😉
