How it works:
- Overnight stay: Book directly at the Explorer Hotel Oberstdorf – your athletic base camp in the Allgäu region.
- Cross-country skiing course: Book with Eva & Maria, the experienced on-site trainers.
- Your camp, your rhythm:*
- Start with the basic modules and expand your training with flexible elective modules.
- Decide for yourself whether you want to hit the cross-country ski trails again in the afternoon – or prefer to relax in the Sport Spa.
- In the evening, you have the choice: a shared dinner at the Explorer Hotel or a culinary discovery tour of Oberstdorf.
The two sisters Eva Gegenheimer and Maria Paul, former competitive skiers with C-level coaching licenses (DSV/DSLV) and experienced cross-country skiing instructors, lead the courses. In a family-friendly atmosphere, the focus is not only on high-quality athletics but also on pleasant and sociable interaction. Both are professional sports scientists and competent contacts for all questions about sports and training.
- 8 a.m.: Breakfast
- 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.: Classic style cross-country skiing practice
- 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.: Cross-country skiing practice
One hour each of classic and free style
* Approx. 2 p.m.: Return to the hotel & farewell
Carpool to the cross-country ski trail (trail selection depends on snow conditions)
- Overnight stay in a trendy designer room
- Breakfast buffet for athletes
- Sports spa with sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, and fitness room
- Workbench and lockers for your equipment
- The price for the basic course is €111 (2 × 2.5-hour basic modules in the morning plus a 1-hour final module).
- An elective module (60 minutes) costs an additional €30 each.
- A functional movement analysis with basic exercises (60 minutes)
costs €99. The more detailed 'plus' version (90 minutes), which includes an even larger number of exercises to take home, costs €145.
