Want to go biking during your stay at the Explorer Hotel Hinterstoder? Then start your tour directly from the hotel, past Austria's most beautiful spot to the Dietlgut. Perfect for an excursion with the e-mountain bike, which you can rent from the Explorer Hotel!

From the Explorer Hotel via Schiederweiher and Polsterlucke to Dietlgut

The Polsterlucke-Dietlgut bike tour (R307) starts right at the hotel. From the Explorer Hotel Hinterstoder, the route goes through the town center towards Schiederweiher.

You can either cycle along the Flötzersteig – the starting point is right next to the Explorer Hotel, at the end of the parking lot – to the town center and then back to the country road, or you can cycle directly along the local road towards Baumschlagerreith.

For the first option, turn right at the parking lot towards Schiederweiher and cycle past the Johannishof estate. For the second option, follow the gravel path to Schiederweiher, following the signs (but be careful: this doesn't go directly to Schiederweiher, but rather past it on the right).

Continue towards the Polsterstüberl. It's best to follow the signs here. The path leads to the Dietlgut. Here, sections of the route repeatedly lead through the forest. Once you reach Dietlgut, continue along the country road back towards the center of Hinterstoder. Before you reach Hinterstoder again, turn left to the Polsterlucke parking lot and return the same way via the Polsterstüberl.

This tour is mostly flat, and you'll be away from traffic and road noise, mostly on gravel roads, making it ideal for a family bike tour!

The Polsterstüberl is the best place to stop for a break. Here you can also enjoy the impressive view of the Großer Priel, one of the highest mountains in Upper Austria.
