Great via ferrata in the Zillertal Valley along the Talbach Waterfall
The via ferrata is accessed from the Talbach Snack Station (parking lot or Zillertalbahn stop: Laimach Regional Museum).
Right from the start, you have the choice of using a 25-meter rope bridge or a fixed bridge a few meters further down.
In the first section (entry area), the difficulty increases from A/B to D/E. You always have the option of leaving the trail via emergency exits.
The first section is also suitable for beginners - but you should definitely be free from vertigo and not overestimate your abilities.
After a short stretch, you'll reach a wooden bridge, where the 'main section' begins, which is suitable for advanced climbers. The highlight here is a second, very long rope bridge that runs directly above the waterfall.
The Talbach via ferrata circular route takes you back to the snack station from all emergency exits.
