Start of the tour:
From the Elferlift to the summit of the Tribulaun - the Habicht
Start your adventure at the top station of the Elferlift at 1,793 meters - this is where it starts! From here, you can reach the Pinnisalm in about 30 minutes. But don't worry, it won't be too easy! After a short breather, a gentle climb awaits you, which takes you to the picturesque Karalm in another 30 minutes. Time for a short break to soak up the breathtaking scenery before you venture to the next level.
Now things are getting serious: In 1.5 hours, you'll reach the Innsbrucker Hütte at 2,370 meters, the perfect base for your two-day adventure. Yes, you heard right – you can spend the night here so you can start your summit assault fresh the next morning!
From the Innsbrucker Hütte, it's a steep climb! First, there's an eastward ascent on a marked trail to the start of the scramble. From here, things get wild: Secured with steel cables, you climb steeply over slabs. A narrow ridge leads you further before you traverse to the right and gain more altitude – all the way to the forepeak.
And now, the final test of your nerves: A snowfield awaits you, which you skillfully cross until you reach the right ridge. Here, full concentration is required again, as you follow the ridge to the highlight of your trip: the summit at 3,277 meters! The view? Out of this world – a panoramic view that stretches far beyond the Tyrolean mountains!
And after the summit assault? Return the same way.
Attention: Only for experienced hikers. Be sure to check the current snow conditions at altitude and keep an eye on the weather!
