Adventurous hike for the whole family near St. Johann in Tirol
The tour starts at the Grießbachklamm parking lot, directly to the right after passing through Erpfendorf. From here, a hiking trail leads along the Grießbach stream to the entrance of the gorge. Once the path narrows and the rock walls become closer, you're in the gorge, and the path leads you through the gorge over wooden walkways and suspension bridges.
After the second suspension bridge, keep right and soon reach a roaring waterfall. The trail follows the stream up above the gorge, where a second waterfall awaits. The gorge then opens up, and in the gravel banks you'll find a rest area with benches, a barefoot path, and a slackline.
Then continue along the sandbanks to a junction. Here, keep right and follow the path until it reaches a forest road.
Here, follow the road for about 900m until the Jägersteig (hunter's path) branches off to the right and leads you through the forest to the Angerlalm (1102 m). To reach the Huberalm (1080 m), take the farm track to the moor pond, where the path to the alpine pasture turns right.
Don't miss the Huberhöhe viewpoint (1146 m) just before the alpine pasture. To reach the starting point, go via the Jägeralm and past Erpfendorf to the parking lot.
