Experience Tyrol's longest trail
The moderately difficult and partially challenging single trail (rated as S2) has even been ridden by world champions, as it was part of the competition routes at the 2013 Mountain Bike World Championships.
A total of 1,000 meters of altitude drop descends from the Fleckalmbahn mountain station to the valley below.
The cable car transports riders and bikes to the mountain station at 1,770 meters. From here, a forest road leads through the forest to the Maierlbahn (closed in summer).
The next landmark is the Ochsalm Hochalm, from where an existing hiking trail leads towards the Niedere Fleckalm.
Shortly before the alpine pasture, the trail branches off from the hiking trail and leads just below the Fleckalm mountain inn onto a forest road. From here, it continues along the edge of the forest, first through alpine pastures and then through the forest to the valley station of the Fleckalmbahn cable car.
In the upper section, the singletrack features root passages, wooden bridges, and stream crossings, while in the lower section, the flow becomes more prominent.
