Bike Tour from Nesselwang to Oberstdorf

Starting at the Explorer Hotel Neuschwanstein, follow the road "An der Riese." At Cafe Mokka, turn left and reach Römerstraße, which soon becomes Reichenbacher Straße.

Surrounded by green meadows and stunning mountain landscapes, follow the route to Wertach. At the roundabout, take the first exit and continue cycling through the towns of Kranzegg and Rettenberg.

If your calves are starting to hurt, you can plan a stop in Rettenberg and refuel with the famous Kaiserschmarrn at the Brauereigasthof Engel. Feeling fit again? Then it's time to continue—you'll soon have made it!

After Rettenberg, take the second exit at the next roundabout towards Burgberg and continue pedaling diligently to Sonthofen. Once you arrive here, you can slowly breathe a sigh of relief - because the journey isn't far anymore.

At Residenzplatz, turn onto Hirnbeinstraße and immediately right onto Mühlenweg, and then right again. With the wind in your face, your tour continues through Altstädten, Reichenbach, and Rubi. The next town is the long-awaited Oberstdorf - turn right at the roundabout, and as you cross the bridge, you'll hear the Breitach River below you. From here, the Explorer Hotel is just a few minutes away. If you're feeling a little peckish again, a stop at the Schroth wood-fired bakery is definitely worth a visit.

Once you arrive, reward yourself with a shandy at the Explorer Bar and relax your calves in a sun lounger ;)
