Pssst the valley station of the Elfer lifts is just a few minutes away from the hotel. Perfect for a relaxing ride down a few trails!
As soon as you leave the lift station behind you, turn left and take the forest path downhill. Just around the corner from the building, you'll find the lovingly designed entrance to the trail. A large gate with an old bicycle marks the start of the rapid descent. After the first bend on the slope, you'll head straight into the forest. The natural trail immediately reveals its wild side, but with a clever choice of route, you'll easily overcome the initial hurdles.
A host of artificial and natural obstacles await you, such as rocks, root passages, banked turns, and jumps. The forest path crossings are secured with warning signs, and information boards guide you along the way. The upper section of the route is dominated by natural trails and flowing sections, while the lower section, with banked turns and jumps, almost creates a bike park feel.
After the "Zum Weber Lois" snack bar, the route becomes steep again briefly before continuing down into the valley with numerous high banked turns across a large meadow. Once you reach the asphalt road, keep right and, after about 200 meters of a gentle uphill section, the final section leads left across the meadow and the Oberbergbach stream back to the valley station of the Elfer lifts.
