
The Hörnerbahn in Bolsterlang offers 17 kilometers of slopes, ranging from gentle to steep, in addition to a fantastic view of the Allgäu Alps. The World Cup ski resort in Ofterschwang features a family run and a World Cup run. All skill levels will find something to suit them.
Germany's highest passable mountain pass, the Riedberg Pass, is open even in winter, and at the top you'll find the charming Grasgehren ski area. On the other side of the pass lies Balderschwang, a snow-sure family ski resort with 40 kilometers of slopes.
Our tip for your ski holiday in March & April: Early Bird at Ifen. The cable car takes you up to the top at 7:45 AM, and before you lie grippy, untouched slopes and a wonderful morning atmosphere. We can't imagine a better start to your ski day!
You can rent your equipment at each of the lifts featured above. At the lift stations, you'll find either the right sports shop with rentals or a ski school with rentals. You'll also find a ski school in *every ski area*—how awesome is that? So you don't have to worry about your next ski vacation!
