The Explorer Hotel Neuschwanstein uses a mix of different energy sources, thus maximizing the use of renewable energy. Solar thermal energy and green gas are used for heating and hot water. A PV system on the roof covers the hotel's electricity needs. The proportion of self-generated electricity is thus up to 70% over the entire year. That's cool, we know that too ;)
