This gives you the perfect combination of exploring the Tyrolean region on foot and by bike. You can leave your bike at home without missing out on the cycling fun! We'll show you what your 3-day vacation with the Bike Deal could look like:
Your short break in the Kitzbühel Alps
Day #1: Hike to the Kitzbüheler Horn
On the first day of your vacation, after a hearty breakfast buffet, you'll start with a beautiful panoramic hike. You'll walk 10 minutes from the hotel to the Harschbichlbahn cable car and then take the cable car to the mountain station. From there, you'll hike the Horn Summit High Trail, which begins at an altitude of 1,604 meters, to the Kitzbüheler Horn. If you're a climbing enthusiast, there's also a via ferrata on the Kitzbüheler Horn. Fantastic views of several 3,000-meter peaks await you, such as the Großglockner (3,798 meters) and Großvenediger (3,657 meters). The Horn Summit High Trail takes approximately 3.5 hours. Afterwards, you'll return to the Explorer Hotel Kitzbühel in St. Johann by cable car or on foot.
Day #2: E-Mountain Bike Tour
The Harschbichl awaits you right in the town of St. Johann. The mountain is full of experiences - and that applies to mountain bikers too! Grab your E-MTB from the Bike Deal for the day and off you go to the Harschbichl!
There are two options leading to the Harschbichl from the Explorer Hotel Kitzbühel. Once you reach the top, a beautiful mountain panorama awaits you. Then comes the fun part: It's downhill! Below the middle station, the Harschbichl Single Trail awaits you. Here you'll experience pure action with a length of 4.2 meters and 145 curves! Once you reach the bottom, the Skill Arena awaits you. Here you can really put your riding skills to the test!
The OD Trails are also just 10 minutes away from the Explorer Hotel Kitzbühel, for even more trail fun.
Day #3: Grießbach Gorge & Show Cheese Factory
Today we're off to the water! The Grießbachklamm is a nature experience for everyone. The gorge in Erpfendorf offers clear water and spectacular views. In about 10 minutes by car, you'll reach the Grießbachklamm parking lot. Here, you can hike either the small (approx. 1 hour) or the large (approx. 2.5 hours) Grießbachrunde.
Are you a cheese fan? Then be sure to take a short detour to the Schaukäserei Wilder Kaiser on your way back to the hotel. In the modern 40 square meter showroom, you'll learn interesting facts about Tyrolean cheese. Around 1,200 liters of hay milk are transformed into 700 delicious cheese wheels every day in the dairy.
