The tour starts at the Sennigrat cable car mountain station. First, you'll pass the Wormser Hut, where you'll have the opportunity to refuel before reaching the highest point of the hike. Today's summit is called Kreuzjoch and lies at 2,395 m. After thoroughly enjoying the panorama there, you'll head to the first lake of the hike. The Herzsee gets its name from its shape; it's also a wonderful turquoise color. You can see the reflections of the surrounding mountains in the water. Afterwards, you'll head to Schwarzsee, which is considerably deeper than the shallow Herzsee and therefore has a much darker color. Opposite, you can now admire the Arlberg and the rest of the Klostertal mountains. The Arlberg is definitely worth a visit, especially for skiing in winter. Finally, you'll return to the Hochjoch cable car mountain station. This is also the end of your hike today.
Tip: On the way to the mountain station, you'll pass a playground; you should definitely take a break here if you're traveling with children.
