This impressive tour takes you through the Oytal valley up to the Käseralpe – tough climbs included!

The tour starts at the Explorer Hotel Oberstdorf in Fischen. From the hotel, follow the Iller cycle path and cross the Iller directly after the source of the Iller to the other side. Here, cycle back a little in the direction you came from. From here, continue towards Oberstdorf. Once you've passed the Nebelhornbahn cable car, continue towards Oytal valley. After a slight climb, the terrain flattens out again and you pass the Oytalhaus.

Pssst, a little insider tip: Here you can rent an Oytal scooter after a hike, shortening your way back down to the valley! The Oytal isn't just worth cycling; you can also enjoy wonderful hikes here that are perfect for the whole family!

The tour continues. Follow the path straight ahead, further into the Oytal. Towards the end of the valley, it gets steeper and steeper, but the first highlight is already waiting for you!

Highlight: The Stuibenfall!

The effort is definitely worth it! Especially on hot days, it's nice and cool there and perfect for a short breather. Because it gets steep again! The last switchbacks await you after the waterfall. But then you've already made it, and the last stretch to the hut is relatively flat. Once you arrive at the Käseralpe, it's definitely worth stopping for a hearty snack!

The return journey follows the same route as the outward journey.
