Moderately difficult hike from alpine pasture to alpine pasture on the Golm mountain in Montafon
The starting point is at the Golmbahn cable car, which takes you to the Grüneck mountain station. Alternatively, you can also start from the valley station in Latschau.
From the mountain station, the hiking trail leads gently uphill to the memorial stone. There, follow the signpost to the Lindauer Hut.
Halfway along, you'll reach the Obere Latschätzalpe and then walk a short, gentle stretch uphill to the Lindauer Hut, which you'll reach after just over an hour.
It lies at the foot of the famous Three Towers, the landmark of Montafon. Right next to the Lindauer Hut, you can visit the free alpine garden with its alpine flowers and herbs until mid-August.
After a refreshment, you hike through the Gauertal valley, past the Untere Spora and the Latschätzalpe. After a good hour, you reach the Gauertalhaus, and after another half hour, you reach the valley station of the Golmerbahn cable car in Latschau.
