Explorer Hotel Round Trip: From the Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden to Hinterstoder

Bike tour from Berchtesgaden to Hinterstoder

Starting at the Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden, the route takes you along Untersteiner Straße towards Mitterbach. At the end of the village, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Bergwerkstraße and cycle along the Berchtesgadener Ache to Unterau, where you turn onto Reckensbergstraße.

Follow the route to the Hallfahrtufer, where the road curves left and takes you via Salzburger Straße and the Colloredo Bridge to another roundabout. Here, take the first exit, cross the Salzach, and continue cycling along the Almbach stream.

Once you reach the Wiestal Landesstraße, turn left and follow the route for another 50 minutes. Eventually, you'll reach Wolfgangseestraße, take the right turn, and after a few minutes, turn left onto Ladaustraße. Continue along the path until you reach the next roundabout and follow Salzburger Straße to Unterdorf. When you reach the fork, turn right onto Keuschen Weg and keep cycling to the right until you finally reach the water and continue on Plomberg Weg to Unterach. Once here, cycle along the Attersee to Steinbach am Attersee and on the Großalm road to Ebenzweier.

Continue towards Gmunden - here you cross the bridge, cycle to the town of Baumgarten and turn onto Scharnsteiner Straße, which takes you to Steinfelden and then further onto Steinbachstraße to Micheldorf. Here you turn onto Pyhrnpass Straße and cycle to Hinterstoder.

Once you arrive in Hinterstoder, you're only a few meters away from your destination. Turn right at Freizeitpark Straße and you'll reach the Explorer Hotel Hinterstoder.

After 11 hours of pure calf training, it's time for your reward - put your feet up and relax!
