Have you been pushing yourself too hard on your tours these past few days, or are you looking for a family outing? Then here's a relaxing bike tour with stunning views. It passes three different lakes, making it perfect for a day trip.

Cycling tour along the lakes near the Explorer Hotel Bad Kleinkirchheim

Approximately 20 minutes by car from the Explorer Hotel Bad Kleinkirchheim is the Lake Park in Afritz. Here you can park your car. Now it's time to put on your helmet and hop on the saddle.

The tour starts to the right and runs along the lakeshore until the end of the lake comes into view. After approx. 1.9 km, turn left over the wooden footbridge until a steep gravel path branches off to your right.
Shortly after, you'll reach a wooden bridge. From there, you'll have to dismount briefly and walk for about Push your bike for 60 meters until you reach the Tauchhammer House.

Now continue pedaling left on an asphalt road until, at km 3.75, you turn left through Erlach. At the bus stop, you must cross the road and follow Seestraße to the right until you reach the village square of Feld am See. At the "Alte Post," cycle over the bridge and then immediately turn right again to follow the road for about 200 meters until you continue left onto the gravel path towards Unterweng.

Pass the kindergarten on the right. After 40 meters, turn left again and shortly after, cycle across a meadow. The path leads you past the soccer field to the Wacker Inn. There, at the fork in the road after km 8.23, keep left and cross another wooden bridge on your right.

After crossing the next intersection, follow Gartenstraße to the end and then cross another meadow, which will take you to Radenthein.

When you reach the main road, turn left towards the roundabout. Here, immediately turn right again, along the main road. Now keep your eyes open and follow the signs for the R2b. At the Erdmannsiedlung, keep right at the fork until you cross a bridge, from where you cycle left downhill, always following the road. When the path turns back into a bike path, turn left after approximately 400 meters and cycle over another bridge. It's not far now!

After a short while, turn right again onto a gravel road towards Döbriach. At the fork, keep right again, cross the bridge at the village square, and then turn left into the park. After the underpass, continue along the right side of the stream until the wooden bridge comes into view. Now quickly change sides and roll to the starting point of the tour.
