Adrenaline, trails, and thousands of running enthusiasts – the ZUT 2026 was a true highlight! We had a booth at the EXPO, right in the heart of the action, with cool goodies and tons of sporting spirit. Thanks to everyone who stopped by!
A weekend in the Zugspitze region
Trail vibes in Garmisch!
From June 18th to 20th, Garmisch-Partenkirchen became a hotspot for all trail runners: The Zugspitz Ultratrail was a blast – and we were right in the thick of it!
Okay, we'll stop talking now – after all, you just want to know if you won the contest, right?
The challenge was to estimate how many kilometers it is on foot from the Explorer Hotel Garmisch to Kitzbühel – via all the Tyrolean locations. We walked it (well, only theoretically on the map, unfortunately) and it's a whopping 292 kilometers and 15,280 meters of elevation gain!
Okay, let's stop talking now - after all, all you really want to know is if you won the competition, right?
The task was to estimate the number of carabiners in the container - we counted. One hundred and forty-three, one hundred and forty-four, one hundred... - in any case, we finally finished, and there are a whopping 321 carabiners.
We hope you trusted your gut feeling – after all, guessing is only half the fun when your phone is involved. 😉 All guesses received during EXPO opening hours were considered.
There were several correct guesses, so in the end, the winner was drawn by lot. Marc E. wins:
