Do you know the 3 R's of sustainability?
The 3 R's of sustainability stand for: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. In other words, it's important to consider, starting with the purchase, whether you really need it or whether it will just end up in the basement because it was never used. The motto also applies: reuse instead of throwing it away. Consumables like disposables are good for the industry, but not for your wallet, as they have to be constantly repurchased.
Upcycling is a good method and helps you to reuse your old items - whether you make a bracelet out of an old climbing rope or a garden fence out of your old cross-country skis: the main thing is that you give these old items a second life and save a lot of money at the same time!
Do you still have old climbing ropes lying around at home? Perfect! You can make some real eye-catchers out of them...
