The Grießbach Gorge is an adventure playground for the whole family. After hiking through the rocky gorge, the streambed invites you to rest and play.
Hiking: Griesbach Gorge & Show Cheese Dairy

Today we're off to the water! The Griesbach Gorge is a natural experience for everyone. The gorge in Erpfendorf offers clear water and spectacular views. It's about a 10-minute drive to the Griesbach Gorge parking lot. Here you can take various walks.

Are you a cheese fan? Then be sure to take a short detour to the "Wilder Kaiser Cheese Factory" on your way back to the hotel. In the modern 40-square-meter showroom, you'll learn interesting facts about Tyrolean cheese. Around 1,200 liters of hay milk are transformed into 700 delicious cheese wheels every day.

Mountain bike: Fleckalm Trail

The longest singletrack in Tyrol will make the hearts of trail-loving mountain bikers beat faster. The Fleckalm Trail offers all downhillers and freeriders an absolute biking experience.

From the Fleckalmbahn mountain station, the moderately difficult and at times challenging singletrack (rated S2) descends 1,000 meters into the valley.

The upper section of the singletrack features root sections, wooden bridges, and stream crossings, while the lower section is more focused on flow.

Via Ferrata: Kitzbüheler Horn

The cable car takes you to the start at the Harschbichl mountain station.
After 15 minutes, you'll reach the entrance to the practice via ferrata. The route is designed as a 100-meter circular route, with one difficult section © - If you're not comfortable with this, you shouldn't attempt the via ferrata on the Kitzbüheler Horn.

The via ferrata features grippy, stepped rock sections, beautiful, partly vertical passages, and airy traverses.

From the exposed summit, you'll have a fantastic view of the Kaiser Mountains, the Loferer Steinberge, and even the Großglockner.

Trail run: Streif Vertical

The Streif Vertical trail running route is a MUST-DO for every advanced trail runner. It starts at the valley station of the Hahnenkammbahn cable car. First, you'll head into the Hausbergtal valley and then toward the Streif. The route takes you along steep trails to the Seidlalm, further below the Mausefalle, and finally to the Streif starting point. From here, you can take the gondola down to the valley or run down the Streif—depending on what your legs suggest. 😊
