The Hutterer-Böden-Runde is the perfect hiking tour for the whole family.

The tour starts at the mid-station of the Hössbahn cable car and takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Along the way, you'll pass numerous huts and alpine pastures, a reservoir, and hike across alpine pastures, pastures, and through a forest.

Tip: It's worth taking a detour to the Gamssitz, a rocky outcrop. From here, you'll have a fantastic view of the Rottal Valley and the northern slopes of the Warscheneck Group.😍

Do you love action, can swim, and are over 10 years old? Perfect! Then you meet all the requirements for a canyoning tour in Hinterstoder!

All you need to bring is a swimsuit, a towel, and closed shoes that can get wet. If you have all of this, nothing stands in the way of an exciting water experience! Have fun!😏

DAY 4: “Must-See” in Hinterstoder

Whether you visit Hinterstoder in summer or winter, a short hike to this famous lake should be on your to-do list!

From the Explorer Hotel Hinterstoder, you can reach the Schiederweiher after a short hike (approx. 40 minutes).
This hike is easily doable, as you walk along well-developed and comfortable paths.

Good to know: In 2018, the Schiederweiher in Hinterstoder was the most beautiful place in Austria!

DAY 5: Let's go on a discovery tour

How cute is this llama?! 😍

In Vorderstoder in Upper Austria, you'll go on a discovery tour with a llama hiking guide and these cuddly animals.

During this hike, you'll learn a lot of interesting facts about the animals and observe their movements and behavior.

At the end, you'll even receive colorful friendship bracelets and a sweet snack.

The Alpine Coaster on the Wurbauerkogel adventure mountain offers fun for explorers of all ages. You can experience pure action on the summer toboggan run during your hike back down to the valley.
DAY 6: On your bobsleigh, ready, go!

During your summer vacation in Upper Austria, you absolutely can't miss a ride on the Alpine Coaster!

At the valley station on the Wurbauerkogel in Windischgarsten, you'll be pulled up comfortably, and then the bobsleigh will take you back down the mountain at a top speed of approximately 40 km/h! But don't worry: You can adjust the speed with the brakes if the bobsleigh gets too fast for you! 😉

Plenty of fun and action for all ages is definitely guaranteed on this family outing!
