Sore muscles guaranteed: 16 kilometers of trails and 319 meters of elevation gain through the Kitzbühel winter landscape
The starting point for this challenging route is the Koasastadion cross-country skiing center. You start on flat terrain and after about 2 km, you reach a junction and run uphill towards the Rummlerhof Inn. From here, turn right and through the Windwehen Moor into the forest down to the Granderhöfen farms.
Cross the field to the Römerhof Inn, then past a farmhouse and down to the Going Trail. Here, turn left and run back towards the Granderhöfen farms. Shortly before, turn right and take a loop over the Granderkrien and the Granderhöfe to the Rummlerhof. At the Rummlerhof intersection, continue straight ahead. This is followed by a gentle descent to the stream, then a short climb to the Mossbichl. Then, it's a gentle descent to Rettenbach and then via Schneidern and Weitau in the valley basin back to the starting point at the Koasastadion.
