Ski Tour Classic: Goinger Törl
Approximately 25 minutes by car from the Explorer Hotel Kitzbühel is the starting point of the tour at the Griesner Alm. The toll road there and the on-site parking lot are subject to a fee.
The tour begins at the Alm. Here, cross the bridge and follow the forest road until you reach an open area. From here, follow the trail to the Summer Trail, which runs just below the rock faces. From there, the trail continues through the beech forest to the narrow cirque.
Here, you climb with switchbacks on the right side until the cirque clearly splits. Keep left to reach the Fritz Pflaum Hut over a steep step. Now continue to the pass. To reach it, you'll make a wide right turn around the rocky ridge. Here, keep right to ascend the 35° steep snow slopes to the Goinger Scharte, also known as the Goinger Törl.
Now, take off your skins and plunge into the snowy fun. The descent is identical to the ascent. However, it's also worth skiing down the adjacent cirques. You'll need to re-skin twice for this.
