Explorer Hotel Round Trip: From the Explorer Hotel in St. Johann to Berchtesgaden

Bring on the 63 km of pure biking pleasure! On this bike tour, you'll not only test your endurance, but also discover two Alpine regions at once.

Bike tour from Kitzbühel to Berchtesgaden

Starting at the Explorer Hotel in Kitzbühel, cycle along Speckbacherstraße towards the center of St. Johann.

After cycling through the town, cross the bridge over the Fieberbrunner Ache. Continue straight ahead through Erpfendorf onto Loferer Straße. After about 40 minutes, turn off towards Waidring and continue along the road to Lofer. Without entering the town, turn right onto Wildmoos Straße and later right again onto Sankt Martin Straße.

The route leads you along the Saalach River to Weißbach bei Lofer and onto Hintertal Straße. At the fork in the road near Hintersee, take the right turn and follow the path to Ramsau near Berchtesgaden.

Slowly but surely, you can relax your tense facial muscles, because your destination isn't far away. With a broad smile on your face, turn onto Berchtesgadener Straße and continue cycling until the path leads you over the Ramsauer Ache stream onto the Duftberg Weg.

As soon as you reach another fork in the road, turn left. Can you feel your calves yet? Good, because soon you can relax in the Sport Spa. Once you reach Schönau am Königsee, the path leads right onto Schornstraße, and in less than 5 minutes, you'll arrive at the Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden.

Now it's time to cool off and relax. Reward your strong performance with a cool drink from the Explorer Bar!
