The perfect ski tour for beginners and beginners leads to the Harschbichl in St. Johann in the Kitzbühel Alps.
The ski tour starts at the valley station of the Harschbichlbahn, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. The ascent begins on the right side of piste 1d, changing to the left side in the upper section.
Now follow piste 1c towards the middle station, continuing on piste 1a until you reach the Angerer Alm about an hour after starting your tour. This traditional hut beckons you to stop for a bite to eat ;)
Above the Angerer Alm, a path leads you romantically through a forest up to the summit. Once at the top, a magnificent panorama and a magnificent view of the Wilder Kaiser await you. At the Harschbichlalm, you can quench your thirst and refuel after the climb. The ski tour guidance system will help you find the right path.
The descent follows the ascent route via slopes 1a (1b), 1c, and 1d to the valley station.
During the ski area's regular opening hours, you can also choose a different route for the descent to the valley. If you decide to ski down to the Eichenhof lifts, the free ski bus will take you back to St. Johann.
The slopes are generally closed between 5:00 PM and 8:30 AM.
Ski-hiker Evenings at Harschbichl
Every Wednesday and Friday is Ski-hiker Evening at Harschbichl. Ski tourers can use slopes 1d, 1c, 1b, and 1a (as described above) for ascent and descent until 9:00 PM. Please note that the ski tour guidance system must be observed without exception!
The Harschbichl Alm and Angerer Alm invite you to stop for a bite to eat on both days.
