2. Königssee

Take a boat ride to the lake's landmark, St. Bartholomew's Church, or visit the bobsleigh run in winter, or experience the only Alpine national park. The choice is yours! By the way, you can reach Lake Königsee in about 15 minutes from the Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden.
3. Eagle's Nest

You've never seen anything like the Kehlsteinhaus! Through a natural stone tunnel you'll descend 124 meters into the rock massif to an elevator that will take you 124 meters up and land inside the Kehlsteinhaus. Not only delicious food awaits you, but also a breathtaking view.

There's also a very modern via ferrata there that you're waiting to try out! ;-) The Watzmann is the most beautiful mountain in the world and definitely worth a photo. However, crossing it is only for truly experienced mountaineers. The Grünstein via ferrata is easier. And psst... Have you heard about the Watzmann legend?
You can start hiking directly from the hotel or drive to the Hammerstiel parking lot.

Romantic & very clean? How does that fit together? Well, firstly, the Hintersee near Ramsau, nestled between mountain peaks and the enchanted forest, is a very romantic mountain lake, and secondly, it's one of the cleanest lakes in Bavaria. ;-) Perfect for a boat trip or a very cool swim with a maximum temperature of 14°C!
10. Obersalzberg summer toboggan run
