Fancy a longer run today? Then head to the Neustift valley cross-country ski trail . Starting at the school campus in Kampl, the trail leads you for approximately 13.7 kilometers deeper into the Stubai Valley to the Doadler Alm near Falbeson. It's groomed for both classic and skating styles .
The tour starts in Kampl. Via Neder, you'll first reach Neustift and the valley station of the Elfer cable cars. After a gentle climb via Lehner, you'll descend to the leisure center. From here, the cross-country ski trail continues with a steady, gentle incline through Milders, Krössbach, Gasteig, and Volderau further into the valley. Your destination: the Falbesoner Au and the Doadler Alm . The total elevation gain is approximately 262 meters .
The distance makes the valley cross-country ski trail a really good endurance workout without being technically demanding. Longer, easy sections alternate with smaller climbs and descents. Perfect if you're already a confident cross-country skier and want to do more than just a few fast laps.
And don't worry: After 13.7 kilometers, you don't necessarily have to walk back. You can easily take the bus back from the finish. Anyone who still has energy can simply take the same cross-country ski trail back.
