Training to become a hotel manager (m/f/d) at the Explorer Hotel
Training Content
As a trainee, you will be part of the entire hotel team and gain insight into all departments of the hotel. Your specialty will be the commercial department, including accounting and human resources.
Front office tasks such as check-in/check-out, creating invoices, and reporting.
Monitoring billing and the cash register.
Preparing and maintaining the breakfast buffet.
Preparing drinks and snacks at the Explorer Bar.
Working in housekeeping: from cleaning rooms to checking rooms.
Vocational school: 1 or 2 days per week or block courses.
Training Requirements
- Secondary school certificate, preferably intermediate school certificate or university entrance qualification
- Understanding of commercial processes
- Organizational skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Negotiation skills
Training duration: 3 years
Vocational school: 1 or 2 days per week or block courses
