The "Horlachbach" stream plunges a total of 159 meters and two cascades into the valley. The hiking trail with approximately 700 steps, five viewing platforms, and an exposed, 80-meter-long suspension bridge allow you to experience the Stuibenfall up close and walk on it. The Stuibenfall is a popular hiking destination in Tyrol. The hike to the foot of the waterfall takes about 45 minutes from the Bischofsplatz parking lot.
Every Wednesday, the waterfall in Niederthai is illuminated and looks even more impressive than it already does in daylight. You absolutely shouldn't miss this natural spectacle during your vacation in Tyrol.

OH YES!!! The Stuibenfall is a popular meeting place for all climbers. Climbing enthusiasts will get their money's worth on the approximately 450-meter-long Stuibenfall via ferrata. The Stuibenfall in Umhausen also offers a great climbing experience for families! Right next to the plunging water masses, there is a family-friendly via ferrata with low to medium difficulty levels. This means children aged 10 and up can "climb" the Stuibenfall near Umhausen. No equipment with you? No problem - you can rent climbing equipment in Umhausen or Niederthai.
