The family mountain for true explorers in the Allgäu
The modernized Söllereckbahn cable car, as well as the Schrattenwang, Höllwies, and Wannenkopf lifts, and a new snowmaking system guarantee fun on the 14 kilometers of slopes in the Söllereck ski area for all ages.
Beginners and those returning to skiing will find numerous magic carpets and easy, partly free practice slopes in "Söllis Winterwelt." You'll also find the local ski schools here, so nothing stands in the way of your ski lessons.
And do you know where Germany's longest drag lift is? That's right, at the Söllereck, of course. The Höllwieslift is especially popular with locals: the pure natural snow slopes to the right and left of the lift require a bit more skiing skill – it's not for nothing that the Höllwieshang used to be an FIS race track ;)
It's not just the ski slopes and cable cars in the Söllereck ski area in Oberstdorf that provide winter fun. The year-round Allgäu Coaster toboggan run and numerous winter hiking trails also provide the perfect day in the snow.
So much action will work up an appetite. All you have to do is decide: At the mountain station of the Söllereckbahn, you'll find the Berghaus Schönblick or the Berghaus am Söller. And in the valley, you can choose between the Alpe Oberstdorf and the Berggasthof Seeweg.
