The ski area in Mieders lies at the foot of the striking Serles mountain (2,781 m). It is a relatively small ski area with easy and wide slopes, making it suitable for families, beginners, and leisurely skiers. Easily accessible, with simple slopes offering plenty of space and rustic mountain huts for a break – sounds perfect for a day of skiing in the Stubai Valley, doesn't it?
Sledding and winter hiking on the Serles
Looking for a change of pace from skiing? Then you'll also find three toboggan runs (2-6 km) in the Serlesbahnen ski area, where you can whiz down through the wintry mountain landscape to the valley below.
Winter hikers will find five marked winter hiking trails on the Serles. The highlight is definitely the 14 km long winter hiking trail around the Jöchl, with superb views of the Karwendel, the Stubai and the Zillertal Alps! You can also explore the snowy winter landscape on snowshoes along marked trails.
