Ideal for families: The Kühtai ski area in the Ötztal Valley
The Kühtai ski area is ideal for your family holiday in the Ötztal Valley: it is known for its moderate prices and its infrastructure, which, with its baby lift, magic carpet, and ski schools, is ideal for beginners.
The Kühtai ski area is also popular with advanced skiers, freeriders, and ski tourers – everyone will find the right slope and the best powder slopes here. Very popular with ski tourers are the tours to the Pirchkogel (2,828 m) and past the Finstertal reservoir to the Sulzkogel (3,016 m).
If you prefer to let off steam in the park, that's also fine: in the KPark and the KidsPark you'll find obstacles for beginners and advanced skiers.
Once you've discovered every one of the 47 kilometers of slopes in the Kühtai ski area, simply continue on to the Hochoetz ski area. Thanks to the merger of the ski areas, the ski pass is valid in both Kühtai and Hochoetz, allowing you to enjoy a total of 88 kilometers of slopes.
And if that still isn't enough for you: night skiing is offered in Kühtai every Wednesday and Saturday. The HochAlterBahn and the runway take you to the illuminated slope from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
