Diversity of the Seetal Valley: Whether climbing, water fun, or gold panning
The Seetal Valley in the Montafon mountains is located at an altitude of 2,200 m. It can be reached from the Hochjochbahn mountain station via an easy hiking trail (approx. 1 hour). You can also take the Sennigrat cable car and walk down to the Seetal Valley (approx. 30 minutes).
If you enjoy climbing in the Montafon Valley, you have a great opportunity to climb the Hochjoch via a via ferrata. For advanced climbers, there's the slightly more challenging Kälbersee via ferrata.
If you'd rather have a little water action, you can rent stand-up paddleboards at Seetal in Montafon and test your skills on Kälbersee.
A tip for families with small children: Gold panning sets can be rented at Seetal in the Silvretta Montafon. This way, little explorers can have fun in the streams ;)
And when hunger strikes? Snacks and drinks are available at the Seetalhüsli.
P.S. From the train station in Schruns, you can reach the Hochjochbahn cable car in 10 minutes on foot.
