Family Experience: The History of the Blacksmiths
Expand your cultural knowledge through the story of Andreas Ferdinand Lindenmayr. He took over the blacksmith's shop during the Baroque period and made grave crosses, window baskets, and farm signs. His son Matthäus ran an armory and watchmaking business.
This museum in the Phyrn-Priel region of Upper Austria is a great day trip tip for groups and school classes and is an interesting activity in bad weather. But even if you'd like to experience something cultural during your overnight stay at the Explorer Hotel Hinterstoder, a visit to the demonstration blacksmith shop is recommended.
Since it's too cold during the winter months, tours don't start until the end of April. Admission is only possible by appointment :)
